About Us HCI Mortgage began brokering operations in August 1983 from a single office in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. During its first 10 years of operations, HCI Mortgage concentrated its efforts on servicing the mortgages being generated by local realtors, builders, and the family owned construction and real estate company. The mortgage brokerage operation was profitable and forged ahead in a competitive environment.
Commencing in 1995, the company began to implement a program to expand its retail operation. Several agreements were formed which resulted in the opening of offices at numerous locations on the east coast. Simultaneous with the expansion, HCI Mortgage converted the company to a direct lender, a licensed mortgage banker, FHA Direct Endorsement lender and an approved Veterans Administration lender.
As the company expanded the channels through which it originated loans, it broadened the types of loans it offered. HCI Mortgage offers a wide range of loan products, including traditional conforming conventional, FHA and VA loans for initial purchase, refinancing, home improvement, educational or debt consolidation purposes. Also, the company offers B-D grade consumer credit sub-prime loans, 100% LTV loans with full, light and no income verification documentation, adjustable rate mortgage loans, jumbo and super jumbo loans. Other programs that are currently offered include construction, commercial, reverse mortgages, expanded (Alt A), rehab loans and many more.
The company funds its originations and closes loans in its own name.
As a result of growth with HCI Mortgage, we are currently licensed in most states and have retail branch offices throughout the United States.
